Aerospace Australia Limited has announced the finalists for its Industry Innovation Awards for 2015, shortlisting 12 Australia-based innovators.

The awards recognise and reward companies and individuals that are at the forefront of aerospace innovation, and will be presented in the following categories: Defence Industry National Innovation Award; Civil Industry National Innovation Award; Defence Industry SME Innovation Grant; Civil Industry SME Innovation Grant; Young Innovator Scholarship for Defence Industry; and Young Innovator Scholarship for Civil Industry.

The shortlist includes: the Defence Materials Technology Centre; Quickstep; BAE Systems; Rosebank Engineering; Bower Aero; the Institute of Instrumentation Control and Automation; Jacobson Flare; Trakka Corp; AvSoft Australia; and Gamechanger Technologies.

The winners will be announced on February 24 during the Avalon Airshow.
