Hawker Pacific has been awarded a new contract to deliver ground handling services for the Royal Australian Air Force’s 34 Squadron, which provides an air transport capability for the Australian government, the Governor-General and visiting dignitaries.
The contract covers the support of two Boeing BBJs and three Bombardier Challenger 604s when operating from Hawker Pacific’s fixed base operations (FBO) at Perth, Cairns, Brisbane and Sydney airports. The two-year contract, which includes options, builds on a long-standing relationship between Hawker Pacific and 34 Squadron, the company stated.
Hawker Pacific has been providing ground handling support for No 34 Squadron since 2004 across its Australian FBO locations.
“The awarding of this contract builds on the excellent relationship we have with the ADF, and especially 34 Squadron, and we look forward to delivering exceptional customer service to the squadron over the next two years and beyond,” said Graham Owen, vice-president of flight services.
