Supacat Asia Pacific has announced it has exported a fleet of Special Operations Vehicles – Mobility Heavy (SOV-MH) vehicles to New Zealand and that these have been accepted into service by the NZDF.
The vehicles are based on the modular Supacat HMT Extenda MkII in service with Australian Army special operations operators. They are able to be converted from 4×4 to 6×6 configurations to meet different operational requirements, and offer various levels of protection for their crews.
“We are very pleased to have achieved our first product export from the Australian office,” Michael Halloran, Managing Director of Supacat Asia Pacific said in a statement. “It is a great credit to the Supacat Team Australia members that we have delivered this fleet on time and to budget.”
